What did you do to ur Gen III Prius today????

Blind spot mirrors

 

I just put mine on too. The exact same ones. I placed mine outside lower. I really like them and already, tonight they helped me to see a car that was in my blind spot.

 

I just told Rodney what I wanted and it came out nice. Not sure if they are custom or not, good question...

 

Today I got the dealer's tint stripped off of my Prius and got 3M Crystalline tint on every window.

Inspired by a couple of examples I saw on these forums, I took this old phone holder I had and found that the top of it screwed in perfectly where my shifter was. So now, I have my phone mounted in the perfect place, and it took me approximately 1 minute. Taking pictures made it take longer

Installed the Clazzio seats on Wednesday, but just go around to taking pictures this morning while my office was empty since it is a Friday. I decided to go with the dark gray with light gray stitching to match the dark interior of my winter gray prius.

With the installation being over, I am happy with the final product. I do wish the center console piece had a better fitment though, it seems to be too loose towards the front of it and I might even remove it. Maybe I installed it wrong? I don't believe I did though because it seemed to be the easiest and reminded me of putting on a shower cap because it just slips on, haha. Total installation took about an hour and a half total. Back seats were definitely the most time consuming... Wasn't sure what everyone was talking about regarding sore fingers until I woke up the next morning and tried to type at work Glad I got them though, feels much better then sitting on cloth and should be easier to clean. Was worth the investment so far. Time to save for the steering wheel now

 

Make sure it's not on backwards

 

It is not on backwards. By just looking at the design you can tell which way it is supposed to go because it has the cup holder mold at the front.

 

Or make sure you use the right one mine came with two

 

i swapped antennas today. im not feeling the shark fin and wanted something short. i ended up getting an aluminum 2" stubby antenna in black. looks much better than stock and for $13 shipped i like it even more. as for reception loss... my am/fm is rarely ever used and when it is used its almost always sports. any games that are important i watch on TV so no real loss there either.

How much did it cost you...if you don't mind me asking?

 

I went with leather instead of pvc

 

I got Crystalline 40% on all windows except the front windshield and they did it for $480. On another PIP I got FormulaOne Pinnacle ceramic tint in 35% on all window except front windshield for $390. One thing to be careful of with Crystalline at 40% there is a brown hue.
