Newbie here from San Diego!

Got Husky Liners all weather floor liners, LED interior lights, color matching side moldings, upgraded back up light bulbs, tinted all my windows with 37% metallic tint, and clear door guards,cargo net, and bumper appliqué! Waiting for my order of LED turn signal mirrors and aluminum pedals! Got a $200 voucher from Costco to use at Toyota of El Cajon for accessories since I bought the Prius from them through the Costco Auto Program (highly recommended and bought 5 cars through program already) and wanna get the all season cargo mat and the chrome bottom trims for doors! Maybe getting a little too into this because of daily reading of forum!

 

Iwould agree with you on the seats. I sshould clarify I reupholstered doors and center console . The seat covers I am stuck with since I have kids so it keeps the cloth seats clean and I cant afford leather . .

Nice job on doors and center armrest. Understandable about the kids and the seat covers. Do they make a decent seat cover that doesn't look like crap, even if it's just for the back?

 

lol, although the light still did shine through, this was nothing more than an experiment with leftover plasti dip. I peeled it off, but since I did like how it looked, I posted pics here. They are now back to stock.

Looks great! I'm in San Diego as well. Who installed your LED side mirrors? I'm looking for someone to do mine.

 

Haven't got them yet. They're shipping it from Taiwan. Should be here in a couple of weeks. I might go to Sean in Palmdale to get them on for me and some other lights since I go up that way every other week or so. He seems like the master of these things from what i've read in the forums. I was going to go to a local shop but they might charge an arm and a leg and might not have the experience with Prii's like the guys on this forum. Don't want to run into any issues. Can't wait! Wanna caravan up when i go?

I don't know how I feel about this upgrade, but I'll keep it for now. I figure it might look better if I get a black (wrap/vinyl) hood.

Matte black headlight trim. What do you guys think?

 

Looks like the goth/death metal black eyeliner equivalent of those stupid eyelashes people put on their cars IMO.

 

It isn't too bad looking (not hideous like how some people black out the side reflectors) but sticks out too much. Would look better flatter, but it'd depend on your other mods and whether you have a black theme.

 

Does anyone have the 2013 Prius Five or know about the LED "boomerang" lights on top of the LED low beams?

They come on with my low beams and/or when I lock and unlock my car. I wanted to see if its possible to activate those with my LED DRL's that are below my front signal lights?

They look cool by themselves and would be nice to run as DRL's because they're not really visible with the low beams on. In my opinion, they would give the Prius the cool Audi DRL look during the day time!

 

I wonder what it would look like painted the same color as the car?

 

Changed out the trunk light for LED.
