What color is your 2016 Prius?

I am going with Blizzard Pearl on mine, partly because I want it to stay cooler in the sun.

 

Bought the classic silver metallic because it had the features I was after. Sunroof and ATP were my two must haves and I wanted to support the dealership I had purchased my 2007 Magnetic Grey Prius from and the Silver was in stock. No regrets.

Did know what color I was getting....was hard to find a Touring in Canada....so ordered and got what that got given to them...

 

I have a Harvest Beige Interior with black applique, so I dont have much white, & the two tone beige interior is sweet!

 

When on the car lot shopping on a recent sunny day, I placed one hand on the roof of a silver and the other on a magnetic gray. The silver Prius felt much cooler. I bought the silver with moonstone interior. Love it.

I think the Silver looks very sharp. Very classy. If I had to do it all over again, I'd go with Silver and Moonstone cloth seats. My old Camry was a silver/grey color, and it rarely showed dirt... certainly not like my white Prius. However, I don't get upset about the dirt too much anymore. It's a great car. But, there's just so MANY white vehicles on the road... I just blend in with the faceless masses.

 

I opted for Blizzard Pearl to be on the safe side, and I liked the way it visibly showed the character, lines, angles, and curves. Love the pearl in it, especially in the very hot and sunny weather here in Texas. I was initially leaning to go for the Blue Crush, but felt I'd grow tired of it eventually. Every model and car has a well-suited color, and the BP just felt "right" for this particular car and for me, personally... Especially if I'm going to be looking at the car every single day for the next 5 damn years, ha!

* Edit - now that I think further, Sea Glass Metallic would have been an awesome choice, and I would have thought seriously on opting for it - had it been present in front of me... It would hide the dirt better than the BP and it would be more unique out there... The BP does have that "pop" though.

 

Almost as many white as silver but I like them both.

A front plate is required in California. And I hope the rocks hit my plate, and not my bumper.

 

Required in WI as well.

 

I opted for a plate that accents my car - so a front plate is a plus!

 

That's a good way to look at it. I just keep a very good distance back from the car in front of me to prevent those rocks from impacting. All we can do is try since the car is meant to be used while encountering wear & tear anyway.

Required is fine & dandy, but I don't agree with the "drilling" aspect. I'm sure there are clean and harmless ways of putting it up like many sports car enthusiasts figure out creatively with aftermarket options. It's a risk to run without, of course - all depends on the person. Thankfully and "knock on wood", the time I was pulled over and warned was over 10 years ago when I was rockin' a Lancer Evo - the big nice person spoiler and loud exhaust didn't help my case either.

 

When you're 62 years old, you get over all that minor stuff.

On Saturday, I purchased a silver with black interior. The dealer ordered the console and shifter applique package at no cost.

Doesn't the black interior look so much more hi tech?
I think the lighter interior colors make the car look whimsical or silly.
