Closest you get to above in a green car is Tesla Model S. I test drove an Accord V6 Touring (my friend is in market for one) which is pretty quick and hugs the road, but it gets 26 mpg combined.
Prius?: Not fast but adequate, handles better now and definitely unique exterior styling and futuristic interior styling. Some will like it, many not.

i think men attribute the look of their cars to female attraction. but women don't tend to drive them. so they are either attracted to the man, the allusion of money, or the guy is just delusional.:p

When I look at the new Prius, think of the image it's projecting, one word comes to mind:

    Zoolander

Don't want to spoil it for those who are going to buy Gen IV, but here is a 2016 Civic done right IMO; Redline Review: 2016 Honda Civic Touring - YouTube

A really nice interior, has 98/15.1 cu ft, saw an EX trim in Rallye Red at the local dealer.

The new Civic is nice, but they are already getting less MPG than advertised.

why would anyone interested in a prius, buy a civic? shouldn't spoil anything. there are plenty of nice cars out there, only one prius. or three, depending on how you look at it.

I test drove a 2016 Civic EXL with the 1.5 turbo. Punch it at speed on freeway at it passes other cars pretty easily.
Wish I would have reset the MPG gage but it was a short test drive.
Nice car and I like the interior.
Ride is pretty firm. You know the bumps are there but they don't come through harshly.

I drove my '11 Prius on two trips to store for 6 miles total. Reset gahe in morning. It's at 30 mpg.
Don't tell me I need a plug in hybrid. This regular hybrid cost enough

I didn't make any claims, but you did about new Civic getting less than ad'd MPGs.

    This place kinda sucks.

    Hi Folks,

Was surprised by how nice looking the Pearl White Touring Gen4 was sitting in traffic. Spotted yesterday, in Torrance. (near Toyota design center)

I gave the driver a big thumbs up as I lane-split past him on my Beemer bike.
    He waved back.

    Cheers, Steve

The outline of the back of the car made it interesting to look at. Rather than odd or unusual.

The Pearl White picked up the many surface details in a pleasant way.

Wasn't really a fan until I saw this pic on Instagram. Really caught my interests in the potential of the Gen4. image.jpeg

I really don't see the point in making a Prius look like a performance car or boy racer ride. In fitting all the panel mods and thin profile wheels you would be losing the best of what a Prius offers and it is not as if it will suddenly turn into a Mitsubishi Evo after all those mods.

On the other hand, I can understand the frustration felt by many here that Gen 4 just doesn't look right to them so some have started to look at extreme solutions.

it will frustrate current owners who love their egg. but will bring in a lot of newbies who didn't.
