How much driving do you do? Sounds like you don't have enough coolant moving around yet and you have it tested it enough to get anything to overheat which would be tough to do in the weather in Virginia right now so unless you're out for quite one hell of a drive try pouring in more of the red Asian stuff real slow light or maybe a quarter inch stream dropping out of that Asian red jug into the radiator keep doing that until the radiator won't chug anymore down this will take 20 minutes I just did a car this morning takes forever to fill the generation two up It seems like you're out there all day You're not it just seems like it takes forever You can buy one of these vacuum things and try to make it faster than you have to get that out every time and connect it do the do. I just pour very slowly it takes about 14 minutes for the radiator to stop chugging and dropping down through the neck and you hear the proverbial glug. Pour and more repeat and so on to get a solid quart of water in a thing takes 12 minutes when you're finally done with that Make sure the overflow jug is filled to the bottom white piece of plastic that's down in the neck and go for a drive and put the heat on full blast whatever that is 90° 95 wherever it stops It's fan on high fresh air not recirculate You should have enough heat coming out in short ordered almost burn your face If not now you can get out and check the stuff again with the engine sitting there running for a little more coolant in and see what happens if it'll take it by now water should be moving by the water pump which needs to have a belt on it it's on the front of the engine water should be moving pretty smartly without any trouble

Thanks! I refilled the radiator coolant and my heat works again.

Put a sharpie mark on the middle of the coolant overflow tank. When the car is cold add coolant to that mark. For the next few days after it has been driven and sat overnight check the overflow tank and add coolant to bring it back to that mark. Also run the heat for a while each day. It takes a while to get all the air out of the complex cooling system for the ICE, and this procedure will do it.
