And you paid for 3 years of those features working correctly when you bought your Prime.

True, but they don't yet know how much of a PITA I can be when I know the problem is on their side.;)

Enjoy the trip/parade/game. Sounds like a blast. (My charge notices seem to be every other one now...but at least I am getting some of them.) (4 inches of snow heading my way tonight......hope my Prime is ready....it has never seen snow).

    Thanks! It'll be fun.

We did a date night, over the top dinner last night and drove around looking at Christmas lights afterwards. It started sleeting heavily and freezing on the street. The Prime did great. I had the heat set to 69° on eco auto with the vents point to defrost (not the front/rear defrost buttons) and it did great. I was impressed. It was 25° with a 20 mph wind.

The emails do seem to be skipping around. My schedule runs tonight so I should get one around midnight and one around 5:40am "if" it's working right.

Wonder if they're offshoring? That could explain the lack of knowledge that the server was down for three days and possibly the mail server issues.

That does NOT explain it. Email & the Internet are global. The Internet is designed for redundancy by routing around issues.
We chose Toyota because they are a skilled, competent supplier. We expect them to use similar care in choosing their service providers.

The small company I work for has 3 Internet connections from 3 different providers. At least one of the providers is a major Internet backbone provider

Every weekend at the Key Theater in Georgetown Wash. DC as a leadin to Rocky Horror. Where was Ultraman when we needed him?

I did another ECO Dashboard test this morning per Toyota support's "reset" guidelines. Drive minimum 15 minutes, power off 5 minutes, drive another minimum 15 minutes, power off and check. I checked after the first 15, nothing. I checked after the second 15, nothing. Drove another 5 blocks home. Checked 10 minutes later and the ECO Dashboard has data through and including the second 15 minute drive.

It "is" working, but at a diminished performance level compared to what I used to see. Stats were almost immediate in the past.

Also, I'm only getting 1/2 of my charge notification emails. I received the start notification today, but not the completed email.

Update: Today is the first day in many days that I received "both" start and completed charge notification emails.

Update 2: I went out and did two short drives of about 8 miles each. In the middle, I powered off and checked the ECO Dashboard. It was updated within the 45 seconds or so it took me to get to it. I did the same thing again at the end of the second drive and it ALSO updated to include the second drive leg within 45 seconds of power off.

This is the way it worked for me for the first 3.5 months of ownership. In other words, as of this morning, it seems to be back to normal at least for me. Is anyone else still seeing failures as of this morning? If so, please post. Chris with Toyota said he'd call me back on the 27th for a status update.

My Prime has been charged and in the garage for the past 3 days. Snow, ice, and 3 degrees....neither the car or I wanted out in this mess. I know now why the pioneers kept going. So no reporting from me on updatings.

    (Update: -20 wind chill tonight.)

Took another little ride today with my Prime Advanced, and just finished recharging it. The Entune charge monitoring app is working perfectly. The Echo Dashboard is also working fine. These results are as of 10:15 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on December 26th 2017.

What no sense of adventure? (massive grin, kidding) It was 21° but dry when I did my little drive. I understand. I did put on my down coat, insulated bibs, gloves, etc. and take down the outside lights. Today was our warm day.;)

    That's great news. Thanks.

    And why not!

Couldn't resist adding this... Great song while we're waiting for the issue to be resolved.

Similar results here for the ECO Dashboard but the email notifications are spotty. Received one at 10:18AM when my Prime reached full charge in at my home after running some morning errands. However, a 5 mile trip at 2:30PM and full recharge in a parking garage did not update. Then a trip from there to the local Trader Joe's and back home for partial recharge, then a short one-mile trip to pick up spouse at local commuter rail stop and home again for full recharge.

Checking charge management from the phone shows that charging was complete as of 6:34PM -- but no email as yet received at of 10:30PM.

The ECO Dashboard has updated through 5:44PM which was the time I left to go to the train station.

Because of our Christmas Day snow storm, we decided not to make a 60-mile trip to visit friends and just stayed close to home ran one local errand in the early evening. Hence, no more gasoline consumed since earlier in the month -- and the ECO Dashboard now shows us back in the top-100 rankings for both fuel consumption and ECO driving score. Also all sheep are still present and accounted for.

The weather is turning cold and I doubt that we'll be able to maintain this much EV driving in January.
