If you make a "winter front" to block the grille, that will dramatically help with warmup

My first winter with the Prius I lived in a condo with heated underground parking. Didn't make a winter front, thought I wouldn't need one as work had heated parking too

Wrong! Temps of -15 F and colder, especially -35 F and colder, the car would cool off so much by the time I got to my destination I was freezing.

The winter front changed all that

I got tired of waiting for the car to warm up. I'm in Dayton and I understand that it takes a little time for the car to warm up. I installed the CarTech seat heaters that heat your back and bottom within the first minute. Then once the car is warm I can turn on the heater. With the seat heaters I sometimes forget to even turn on the heat. Information on the heaters are under My Prius.
