I’ve carried a government mandated ID card for most of my adult life...and I will have one for the rest of my life (not sure if military retirees are LEGALLY required to carry them after 60)
License plate cameras don’t bother me, nor does photo speed or red light cam enforcement.

BUT(!!) I think that the government is obligated to disclose who is profiting by the data that they collect from you or the equipment that they mandate.

Recent (and current) administrations seem to indicate that nobody is watching that...

VIRGINIA at least seems to be generating tax revenue somewhat fairly and without generating wealth for friends and family.

I have no problem with that, and I do have a vested interest having been a former resident and a failed candidate for governor of that Commonwealth.
