    We recently bought a 2010 Prius and the previous owner had this alarm installed at the dealer at the time of purchase, and it was set to passive mode then. So it is possible to have this alarm in passive mode in a Gen 3 Prius. But so far we're finding it's not possible to switch it out of passive mode once you're in it, which we'd like to do. This feature is very irritating.
