Bill, I don't mean to question your Spanish, but I'm not so sure about the part that says: "Take good care of my Prius and you can have sex with my wife."

Without illustrations will they know how?

Oh and 3 on the tree was par for the course when I learnt to drive. Only jap crap and tiny pommy cars had that 4 on the floor thingo and no one was so lazy as to drive an automatic.

Guillermo is william I beleive. My middle name is William.

What would be my first name? James?

    Jaime?

anyway, I have some of those cards in my middle box. Didnt look to see if the wifes car does. We wont be using valet much anyway. They dont park for you at McD's, Don Pablos, or Olive Garden!

and for maintenance other than the dealer I need to find a good hybrid tech in my local area. Gotta be one in the Orlando area. ya think?

Would you beleive James = Diego ?

I knew that 2 years in S. America, in the Peace Corps (the 'other PC') would be worth something.

(BTW, in originianl post, I should have said "Muchas" not "Muchos")

I thought 4 on the floor was a double date!

When I was a park ranger, I used to drive an old pickup with three on the tree. The shifter guides were shot, so you had to shift by feel. I never had to worry about keys or anyone borrowing my truck; they couldn't get it in gear.

Hmmmmmm, I didn't get any 'Valet Cards'

My wife could have used one :) so I made up one before I found this thread.

Took pictures, edited, printed out 4" x 6" cards to guide her through the "Stop and Go" with a PRIUS. Actually, it helped me to go through the steps again!

    Here is my card:

I never considered turning my Prius over to any valet parking attendant, but the time may come . . . not soon, though, my friends!

BTW, if anyone wants a copy of my creations above, just send a private request with your email address.

I have to valet my car every day and hate doing it. I don't like it when others drive me car and would rather do the parking myself...I asked and they said no. Anyway, there was this one time where the attendant had brought my car up and then forgot to put it in park. A friend standing with me screamed out that it was still rolling and the attendant got back in the car and put it in park. I was just standing there watching it happen and just watched it roll and nothing came out of my mouth. Luckily my friend was there and said something. The attendant drives it every morning and knows how to drive it. But, he must have pushed the park button too fast before the car coming to a stop or something. I worry about my transmission to see the attendants shifting the cars before they come to a stop.

They wont let you drive it because then you would see the races they have with it on the way to its park spot! All of the sporty cars get raced and tires spun and slung sideways as a regular practice. A valet lot in orlando went out of business when two cars racing to park hit each other and flew off the 3rd level to the street below! Both drivers hurt badly and I dont remember if they lived. The owners were miffed beyond colling off and sued the place out of existence.

I will never willingly hand my car off to valet parkers!

That's interesting about the Valet card...did not get any.

BTW has this happened to anyone else.

I drive up to Valet stand. Guy opens door. Go inside large hotel to find restaraunt and sit down for nice buffet brunch...as I head up for desert notice key in my pocket...go running up to valet stand. Car still right where I left it. Valet says it happens a lot with the Prius.

    **PROBLEM WITH PRIUS SHIFTER **

Anyone who has driven my Prius and is a newbie ALWAYS tries to hold the shifter lever in position instead of letting go and letting it drift back to center.

They can't seem to fathom that it doesn't lock into the spot....BTW, I wonder why it doesn't./

Three-on-the-tree. My dad had an REO speedwagon (i believe) that had that. I never drove it, but don't think I would have a problem, I've driven plenty of cars and trucks with manual trannies.
