Totally off topic but have an urgent problem… hood won’t open via the normal interior latch release on my 2017 prime w 97k miles. I feel there is still tension on the cable, but it won’t pop the hood. Bummer on such a low mile car:-(. Anyone know another way to open the hood, that doesn’t involve taking off the front bumper? Also, anyone know if that should be covered in a warranty since it’s under 100k? I’m past due an oil change and the tiny 12v battery dies quick on the prime if you just hang out with the door open for ten minutes .

that is probably only covered for 12/12. try pulling the lever while someone prys up on the hood.

never use anything in a prius, including the dome light, unless you are in ready.
