No WAY! I don't easily give other people the power to make me unhappy. My voting precinct had a massive turnout, despite the fact that all of the local elections were non-partisan and the state elections were a foregone conclusion. VERY satisfied with the overall results. Bullies and big money vanquished on both sides. My beloved home state flipped a Senator (Donnelly) much more convincingly than the prognosticators guestimated, and other senate seats are open, including McSally (first female combat squadron leader??....) and Hyde-Smith, who was in a three-way race, and will almost certainly win a run-off. Montana will probably go redder, and Aridzona will probably keep their lady Warthog driver. Florida's Scott will probably leave us with a 55/45 Upper House split. I would have been happy to have "Lyin Ted" offered up as a sacrificial goat, but you hey....can't win 'em all. BEST of all probably is that we'll get to see Pelosi being Pelosi for two years. That will certainly provide enough fuel to keep poll workers busy in 2020!!! Investigate....or Legislate. Your call......
Got a generic expected outcome where everyone voted exactly the same way they always do. Would be nice to see a positive different outcome once and a while .
I guess maintaining a 2/3 majority of one party made up of on average 4.5 terms Experienced politicians In office since 1981 is a positive for some people. Though absolutely nothing will change

Investigate....or Legislate. @8. Both are Constitutional responsibilities, so this is a false paradox at best. Previous (current till 2019 Jan 3) Congress did neither, it could be argued, and they got away with that. So even the term "responsibilities" seems hard to support. Another way to say it is that it is their choice to do as much or as little as possible. We've hints what they will choose, but time will tell better.
....,.and electric car owners in California will pay an extra fee of $100(?) for not buying enough gas. Not sure if that also applies to Hybrids and plug-in Prii. Probably. Cali is leaning so far left... it's about ready to slide off into the Pacific Ocean!! But no worries, they will bring in thousands more illegals to prop it up!!
Careful! You're not in the kindergarten room next door!! As far as the tax on 'lectric cars, it's a further sign that they're approaching economic viability. "Welcome to the club!" Once they're off of the mother's milk of tax kickbacks for a few years, and they're able to run with the rest of the herd, it's gonna be time for them to start contributing. Besides....Prop 6 failed, so Caly drivers obviously feel that they need the road money......
Oops. I spoke too soon earlier about Aridzona..... Sorry Colonel! Looks like attack plane drivers getting promoted to Senator are going to be a 'one-of' for a while in the Grand Canyon state. "Ditat Deus" Every vote counts. Probably do not need to tell everybody reading this thread, but....really. Every vote! Democrat Kyrsten Sinema pulls ahead in razor-close Arizona Senate race - CBS News
