I will warm the car up from this point on(any suggestions on how long?) and I will take the log way to work ...A plug in would not be ideal since we live in an apartment. Don't get me wrong I walked for years to work and everywhere I went however I wanted a 2010 Prius, I noticed the charge during the week however when I go out it's a different story.:peace:

Let it warm up until the ICE shutdown. It'll take 45-60 seconds depending on the outside temp. You'll be in Stage 2.

Not sure about the amperage limits in EV mode, but my 2010 in EV mode will quit that mode as soon as there is an extra work load or too much of a speed increase too quickly - now I know why. ;)
