Yeah one of the other generations are supposed to flash during the test and then when the test is completed they both flash at different rates for a second and then boom it's done so it looks like you're getting it done.

I'm out for a test drive right now. No error lights on the dashboard. Holy cow. I'm going to run another diagnostic while I've got it in operation. Stay tuned!

If you're out driving and no lights on the dash in the car is working right you should be good to go no codes everything done there you go

I still have some error codes coming up even though there's no warning lights on the dash. What do you make of this? 17310293411283798612265479301913.jpg

Cleared the codes again. Still driving it. No warning lights on the – thank you for your guidance Chapman. I guess doing the air bleed first is the necessary first step before you do a linear valve offset calibration. Thanks again man PXL_20241108_013436060.jpg

It does not look like the health check is communicating with all the ECUs. Try turning the car off for a few minutes. Also, close Techstream and then start it again, then run a health check again.

It's not that you always have to do the bleed procedure before the linear valve procedure works.

The thing in your case was that, some way or other, you got yourself a C1451 "motor drive permission" code. (Maybe at some point you, either on purpose or inadvertently, requested ECB Invalid mode, which can se that code.)

The whole purpose of a C1451 code is to stop you from doing anything that needs the brake pump motor to run, until you get through the bleed procedure, which is the only thing that makes a C1451 go away.

Once that code is gone, the pump motor has permission to run, and you can do things like the offset learning.
