Congrats, @Tideland Prius!! Those moderation delays might explain a phenomenon I've seen a few times recently where I will post a comment and then, several hours later, there will be a comment above mine with a time stamp before mine, but it didn't show up till much later. I hadn't thought to look at the number of posts by the mystery posters, but I'll watch for that now.
No I did not. At least they could have put them on straight! Apparently they are magnetic, removable door guards They are tethered to inside the vehicle so some blind person would not steal them..
It can take a while sometimes. Hang in there. The moderators are volunteers. The reason for the moderating of new members' posts is that we had a horrible time recently with spammers. They absolutely flooded this place and made it really hard to find the legitimate posts. Once you get those first few posts on and approved it's clear sailing.
I understand. Thank you so much for the reassurances. I was able to contact a moderator and we are still working on my first post. Between my and moderators' intentions/availability versus spammers' intentions/availability it seems like we are doing the best we can against the spammers.
