Turning off the seat belt beep

My C 2015 came without the beeper being turned on for the seat belts. I just have a blinking light. I kinda like not having that beeper. But I always use my seatbelt when I get in the car.

 

I got this to work as well..

It wasn't working on my Lollipop phone. I couldn't see the menu button to start the connection.

Switched over to my Lollipop tablet. The app kept crashing and I never got to step 4, but I drove around a few blocks and it has worked as described.

 

All I know about driving with vs without a seat belt is that it isn't about the way you drive, where you drive, or whatever. I know the controversy about them still stands. I was once nearly killed because of wearing one, but I was also helped because of wearing one. Hoping your choice is not regretted, good luck, and pay the tech his money. You bought a car and now don't want any unexpected problems. And remember, if you get lifted by a twister the seat belt could be helpful.
