    You've been lucky.

There's always going to be people who claim to never have any problems in every type of car, etc. It doesn't help the individuals who do have problems.

Then again, the OP, for whatever reason, seems to be resistant to installing an HID relay harness, which may have solved the problem. SMH

I agree, but the car is telling me something else when I switch the lights on at times.

Also, I've read that HID bulbs are harder to restart when warm (not cold start). So if the no start problem occurred after the lights were in use, then shutdown briefly, then attempted to restart, that might have contributed to the problem.

Not quite. I parked my Prius once and came back in an hour after shopping. One headlight would only turn on.

Yes I've noticed this as well. Many short errands in one trip where you're turning the car (and lights) on for 20 minutes, turning them off for 5 while you run in a store, then repeating a few times.

One of your headlights wouldn't turn on?

Wouldn't turn on with the car. Had to flip off on then it worked. Another quirk I have is, sometimes when I turn the lights off, the radio turns off. Haha it's intermittent and I'm sure it's EFI interference from the ballast but it's not hurting anything.

let us know how you like the alpha kit compared to the TRS. Which temp bulb did you go with? I looked on their site, but had no luck finding where you can add the harness for $11?

Received the Alpha Kit. This it looks and feels great. The only thing I'm stumped on is where the red and black wires plug into. [IMG]

Those plug into your oem lowbeam connector (the one that would've plugged into the oem bulb.

It's a bad sign that they didn't provide the H11 connector for your application. :(

After trying out the kit it's horrible. It's going back.

You should've stayed with the Morimoto HID and added the HD dual relay HID harness.

LED if done right should be about $600-1000 using OEM parts

I don't get how xenondepot could sell that led kit if they are truly that bad and dangerous. They are a very well known led and hit online company. Many forums have praised them as well.

Hid kits are crap in general because of glare(even though it's in a projector based headlight)

Ballasts are usually not oem so they tend to blow out and not have the safety features necessary.

Agreed. The odds are against them but they work...mostly. I would feel the same things apply to aftermarket LED kits though too...
