Tried installing the OCC... no room!...

    Just vacuum pressure drawn in by the throttle body. I have seen occ made out of energy drink cans.

    So mostly vacuum, hmm. I've got six airplane clamps, three per line: basically two per splice barb and one at the OCC barb. The once or twice I've tried to pull a hose off a barb, I've been thinking those clamps really aren't need. Oh well, it's tight, lol.

    Can you convert it to an acceptable format? Handbrake is good for that.

    Yes, as mentioned a few days ago. Those hoses will not slip off unless very loose, or something yanks on them.

    You practically have to destroy the hose to pull it off with those barb connectors. Designed as one use I guess.

    Update on the OCC install after 13K miles. The epoxy bonded bracket mounted to the lower cross member is working out fine. It has survived a cold Wisconsin winter with no issues. Car was jacked up multiple times and any cross member deflection has had no impact on the bracket bond. One change made is routing the drain line valve to a more accessible location. The valve was originally installed where it could be reached by opening the oil change panel. Due to the high amount of condensation being collected, frequent draining is needed. Suspect this is less of an issue during warmer weather. Pics below show new valve location.
