I guess the chinesium impact socket just couldn't handle 780 ft-lbs of torque for several seconds. :D

I didn't know it needed to be checked. Got 1000 miles on it. How many miles or months sitting until it settles?

Wonder if there is a 10 year 10k mile extended warranty available :D

I'll research over the winter for a good alignment shop and bring her in next May. Funny thing the other day I got a card from my dealer saying it is time for the 5k mile service  Maybe in 4 or 5 years it will have 5k miles.

    F8L, looks great !
Record time for doing the install at home ! I found that my ride is about the same with the Ebach as with the stock springs just have to be a little careful on hitting the front lip on steep entries.

I wish that some one made aftermarket replacement struts to install with the springs instead of only having the OE available. I did find KYB replacements for the rear shocks are now available.

Regarding the TRD and Eback being the same spring the measurements Ive seen are slightly different . The Ebach dont lower the rear as much as the TRD most of the cars ive seen with the TRD are level and with the Ebach springs they maintain a little bit of the stock "rake" but lower .

My biggest fear, Xaran, was the back end would lower too much. While it has less of a rake it still isn't completely level which is cool. If the nice person end started sagging we would have removed them immediately! :)

Here are some better pictures of the socket I broke while doing the springs. Oops.

I suppose we could throw a 0.25 deg shim on the LR and that would help the tire wear slightly. But I probably would not worry too much about it.

Thanks! I'd rather not mess with shims if it won't make much of a difference. I like buying tires anyway. ;)

So in your estimation was an alignment critical or could someone install these springs and get away without having to have one done?

Looks good enough for a street car. If you were to run autocross or some time trials it would be best to make it perfect.
