My hubby was afraid of leaving the gas in that long and made me drive it on gas and then fill it back up to a third of a tank. ;)

Wow! I can tell you up in the N/E area the trade-in on the 2017 was not that impressive last time I checked with less miles. That's great though for you though! Awesome! :)

Maybe if they give you a juicy trade-in they're nailing you somewhere else in the deal?

Checked trade in on my 2020 Limited with 8K miles and it's 23-26K.. that's pretty crappy considering it was 35K Sept 2019.

It doesn't matter what other people got from other dealers. Check the Edmunds trade-in values and Carvana. Check KBB as well, but it seems overpriced.

All that said I traded in my 2020 XLE with 7,102 miles on it for $23,000 at Longo Toyota in El Monte, California two days ago. They honor the Edmunds trade-in values. I should have asked for a few hundred dollars more in hindsight, which I would probably get.

The actual cost of the car to me including tax and fees was about $23,950; so, it was a very good deal for a car driven for over a year.
