Of course. But they are responsible if they design a vehicle that is defective and unreasonably dangerous and if they fail to warn the consumer about known defects. Its called strict products liability and negligent failure to warn. Look, I love Toyota - but this is is a very real problem and they are not dealing with it openly by informing purchasers. I am a very experienced driver and especially driving in poor road conditions. This thing is the worst snow driving vehicle I have ever seen - by a long shot. My snow tires are top of the line Nokians. Can't remember the model. Excellent snow tires.
