Traction control going off erroneously

    The "ABS History" screen is something different from freeze frames.

    When a trouble code is set, a freeze frame is taken to show what was going on at the instant the code was set.

    But when you're just driving along and ABS or VSC triggers for some reason and does what it's there for, that doesn't set a trouble code. So no freeze frame per se.

    But the ABS History remembers what was going on the most recent four times ABS or VSC triggered, so it's kinda like a freeze frame, only different.

    Well, my traction control problem was finally fixed!! A huge buck decided to leap into the front of my 287k Prius and basically destroyed it. She lived a good life I think. Maybe it was karma or just the world saying it was time for a change. After all she did have 287k on her.
    But she will live on , as a friend of mine who owns a garage and has a gen 2 took the nickel Hydride battery and put into the Gen 2. It run better than the lithium one did. So, there is life after death. :). At least for my old Gen three.
