There's a reset button under your dash.

look at your tire stem on the wheel.. it's metal, yah? it's because it's part of the tpms unit.

So I was told by my sales guy that my tires are filled with Nitrogen. I'm very new to the Prius family…and it's my first new car since '99. So if I get a notice that there's something up with tire pressure, do I roll into a Toyota dealer and ask them to deal with it? I'm guessing I can't pull into a gas station & just fill up with O2…

The sales guy didn't go into much detail on what to do with Nitrogen-filled tires.

Nitrogen is one of those add-on things that sound good but don't really do anything. You can fill up with air and it will be fine.

If you paid extra for the tires to be filled with nitrogen, they should probably be re-filled with nitrogen as long as the dealer will do it for free. If that's impractical, you can top them off with air and it won't really make a difference. Air is about 78% nitrogen anyway, and the nitrogen tires are filled with won't be 100% pure. Filling them with pure nitrogen can provide benefits to a small minority of drivers, but for most people there's very little difference.

Thank you for those links. It helps. Coming off of our cars, one which was 25 years old & the other that was 17 years old, I've got some learning to do with these modern cars (our other purchase last month was a '13 Corolla).
