I think that would great, but I don't recall seeing any mention of it. I also think they should have AC vents for the rear passengers.
The new Prius does have A/C vents for the rear passenger seat. The GIII also had them. Under the front seats.
You're thinking rear seat heater ducts. Practically all cars sold in Canada have them. @djasonw was talking about rear A/C vents - the ones that are mounted at the rear of the centre console or B-pillars in other cars.
You completely don't get the point. It's not that Toyota is giving this car ho-hum commodity components like 7" screens. Its that the toyota marketing drones are touting this as "advanced technology". The same bunch that gave us the "edgy" lexus gaping maw and the same morons who think millennials will give two poops what James Franco drives. A stunning display of dunning-kruger that is ruining a good solid company.
I've had problems with my sunroof and the finger eating door handles. I don't care. This car could leave me stranded once a month and I'd still be ecstatic with it. I'm not the only one. Also from consumer reports:
I hope the new advanced Prius techs are not just sound good features, but acually work satisfying. The auto dimming mirror in my gen. 3 doesn't work very well because of the crossbar in the rear window . I hope they fixed that in gen. 4 ! I don't know which model it was,but Lexus removed the auto high beam feature because the system wasn't able to differentiate between head/rear lights and the reflection of road signs . Other car makers have figured out that problem,I hope Toyota has too, otherwise that feature will be useless !
ernie boch. became a multi millionaire swindling customers. don't tell toyotatechwv or frodoz i said that.
That is a very interesting point of view. Many Prius owners never got stranded in years, and still aren't ecstatic with their cars.
I wonder what happens when your warranty expires and you have to pay for these bills... is that going to change your opinion or are you going to lease new one again?
well maybe he did not lease it? In any case, Tesla's wont get recycled after 4 years, they will keep being driven by new owners and then they will complain as heck if they have to pay all those bills . They already increased their ranger fees, and you have to wait for some time to get booked for the service... as more as more cars get sold, more and more get older, their service centers are crumbling under pressure. This is why independent dealers are good to have... Tesla does not have capital to invest into growing their service centers ten fold, and their fees are crazy anyway... $600 for checkup per year is crazy... maybe buyer that leases it at $100k does not care, but people buying 5 year old vehicles will get really annoyed by all of this. So their used value will plummet in few years after market realizes this and that will also bring up their lease prices.
I don't understand the criticism of Tesla's service policy prices. Ever been to a Toyota dealer for a "standard service". $200!!! Oh, that includes 5 litres of oil and "checks" of 18 items. What a bargain! Just because the Tesla doesn't need anything replaced doesn't mean it's expensive. If they know what they are doing and do a good job in the checkup it's probably worth every penny. Or you could just skip it and wait for your $100,000 car to burst into flames.
Like that time Toyota charged me over $100 to replace the engine and cabin air filters... Less than $20 on Amazon...
I just had my Prius oil changed with full synthetic, new filter, and multi-point inspection. $59.99 at the Toyota dealer where I bought the car.
