I did not. At the time I was looking for red with Moonstone. He said he found one he could get. When my reliable salesman checked, he said the only one was on the west coast and the east coast dealers to not trade with the west coast ones. I may have avoided a bait-and-switch. I ended up buying Blizzard Pearl with beige. The black interior made the car too dark, IMHO.

I had their crazy 5K mile inspection though. The new service writer apparently questioned why they did not check the battery. The response was that the Prius is different. How is it different when the 12 volt battery under the hood looks like a standard lead-acid battery? The paperwork said the tires were all set to 32 psi. In reality they were set to a more reasonable 39 psi. No Prius uses 32 psi!
