    no one knows everything, I try to do my best and sometimes I cant leave good enough alone that last link is probl it I pasted the size posted, not sure what g1/4 means but the description says its for 8mm pipe

    Technical data:-material-brass-external thread-1/4-18 NPT (conical//tube)-inner thread 10 x 1 mm (socket to connect the copper tubing 6 mm) such as is used in the automotive gas installations

    It is a type of tapered thread process connection, normally written as 1/4inch – 18 NPT male, the 1/4 inch (0.25″) refers to the nominal NPT pipe size and the 18 refers to the number of threads per inch.

    I thought 10x1mm was a thread size, here is a couple lpg supply shops in my area just to get an Ideea Accessories

    That fitting the drypa site had it listed as an adaptor for a US style evaporator to be used on 6mm copper supply, I am doing the opposite but should work the same, those 1/4 npt are pretty common threads in lpg around here thou if you are curious look at their forklift conversion kits, there is no hardline, it's all done with flexhoses,
    those 3way bulkheads are rather common here, tank supply into one, hydrostatic relief into the other and the drypa fitting in to the third hole, my kit was provided with 6mm pipe off I go from there.
    I contacted drypa before but they replied in polish, I know a few people at work that are polish maybe I can get one of them to help me with the order today, I doubt such an adaptor exists on this continent, thou I thought the same about the 1.75mm drillbits, and I found them in a warehouse in New York.
    one issue I may have with drypa, looks like bank transfers is the only accepted payment method, my bank charges $50 for a transfer regardless if its the entire kit or a 5 euro fitting, if you come across something like this while you are out and about let me know I'll send you some money through paypal, I also emailed drypa see if they may except such or visa/mastercard, I know one of my card is good for international purchases I used it everywhere and it does the exchange automatically.
    Fittings my other idea was to use one of those plugs drill and tap it to 10x1 and use the provided nut and Farrell to make my own similar to the drypa fitting

    Ideally if drypa accepts your plastic card details.

    if refuses then try you get drypa to give you IBAN (international bank account number) & SWIFT/BIC code I can pay them through European SEPA system (cost me 0.70 € each transfer within Europe) you can transfer me PayPal and make order with drypa) then either get drypa to deliver to Poland to your workmate family address and he will pick up while in Poland or get drypa to deliver directly to US. Once drypa gives you proforma invoice or total required you can transfer through PayPal, note that once you wire through PayPal it will take day or two to withdraw from PayPal to my personal bank account, then next 2-3 days to transfer via electronic banking/ internationally to drypa but bear in mind this may be one of yours cost effective options as oppose to expensive $50 transfers.

    of course I do appreciate the help, I need to have it shipped here somehow, as for my friend, I can give him cash before he leaves, I want a tank, valve lube some other knickknacks, but he wont return till October, sure he'll save ma a lot on shipping but I work on his schedule, this shouldn't be too bad to ship anyhow, I found a few other stuff locally special order but I am not sure it's the same, this HAM-LET Male Connector, Pipe 1/4 In, Tube 6mm - Stainless Steel Tube Fittings - 4CML5|768L-SS-6MM X 1/4 - Grainger Industrial Supply looks like a flared fitting but look at the specs, more than exceeds the need

    actually just came across this site 1/4" NPT X 6 mm Compression Adapter Fitting Model CNG1/4

    I have no problem with products from Asia since they are way advanced than European counterparts. Yep the disclaimer is funny im this regard.
    Wow we got some serious sun in Ireland today!

    If you decide to lower the reducer then thise heat resistant tape may be able to block the heat from the manifold outtake.
    Yesterday I got a chance to touch the hot manifold outtake with the tape installed and it wasn't hot.



    Youtube has many videos on installation.

    update:
    finally installed bigger tank (60liters/ or 49.5liters of lpg (real life capacity).

    So far I have driven about 6,500 km's on lpg.

    My first petrol tank last for 5,801 km's, during this time I re-filled about 12 times the smaller tank (about 33liters of lpg)

    after above distance and when the last pip started to flash so I decided to re-fill 1oliters of petrol, this increased indicator to two pips. I drove further 1,200km and the indicator shows one pip.

    I had couple of issues with lpg consumption and last visit hopefully changed the settings to the correct consumption.

    So far my fuel consumption tracker shows the following usage (in euros):

    LPG:328 EUR
    PETROL: 80EUR

    total: EUR400 on fuelings combined.

    I installed lpg with 186869 km on the odo, at the moment my odo shows about 193853.

    the difference between two figures is 6984 kilometers (if I have missed some data in the first few lines of this post, accept my apologies.)

    Anyway, 6984 kilometers for 400euros so going forward: 69840 kilometers will cost 4000euros or half of this distance e.g. 34920km will cost 2000euros in fueling costs.

    Petrol today stands at about 1.60 - 1.62cents per litre
    LPG cost me about 0.75cents per litre.

    I have upgraded tank to 60liters (actually 49.5liters of lpg can be filled for safety reasons).
    My tank has been installed in the place where the spare wheel goes.

    scary stuff..

    The hybrid vehicle had been adapted to run on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) only two weeks before.

    my own observations through reading of the article and watching the video below the article.

    The tank looks completely untouched. I suspect badly installed conversion with a leak.

    I suspect that the drain pipe wasn't installed in the boot where the tank was installed. This has is heavy and when leaking will accumulate on the bottom of the surface where is leaking. I suppose the boot was sealed and the gas didn't have any means of escape.

    I have 2'' hole in the boot floor in case I have such a leak... this gas will simply run down to the street, thus minimizing a danger.


    I do run leak testes every so often when I pass my installer's place... simple test at the tank and under the hood.

    Yes, drain hole is obligatory by low (in Serbia, at least).
    I am really shocked it ther was no one in that taxi. Hope we´ll hear the end of that story...


    @Agape, Do you have any updates of your car and consumption to share?

    What was your consumption before LPG? You are burning an eqviliant energy of 6,1 l/100 km gasoline, that is a lot. Do you know the content of Propane and Butane in your LPG fuel?

    This case isn't as straightforward. I was rear-ended in early '12 when I replaced a second-hand 12V battery (unknown state of the battery), since then I'm getting red triangles on morning starts, also I do experience abnormal behavior of the traction battery (e.g. cooling fan constantly working (perhaps due to weak 12V battery as the main one works more, also my display did show 1 SOC bar twice). Time for a new 12V battery.
    New 12V is due to arrive by Monday.

    I expect improvements.

    Also yesterday I did 10,000km's LPG service which contained filters replacements and 30 min test drive with computer plugged-in to setup the software/map correctly, I was told that now the controller fully imitate the gasoline's one map. Let's see.

    I do not know the ratio of the Propane/Butane mixture they sells.

    The gasoline consumption on the display (prior to the LPG conversion 5,5l/100km most of the times, sometimes 5,6/5.7l per 100km during cold winter days.

    I never tried to calculate gasoline consumption manually at the pump...

    but when i see your numbers it seems to me its not payable driving on lpg. is it?
