The Altair Leader is on its way back to Japan now. I hope there was someone at the port to unload it while it was docked in Long Beach today.

 

they did unload it, in spite of the holiday. my dealer just sent me SMS, saying it's underway to Toyota Carlsbad... the ordeal will be over real soon))) maybe early next week, for those "copycat californians' at least

 

now, that it is coming so close, question of charging...

It just looks like it's sitting out in the Atlantic off the coast of New Jersey waiting to come in. Our cars are almost here, my friends.

i think it's hit or miss. you won't know until you try. if you don't use much else on that circuit, it's probably fine. if you do, it may blow the breaker. i'm running a dedicated 12 ga. romex and 20 amp breaker w/gfci protection circuit as we speak, just to be on the safe side.

 

Stopped at dealer the other day, they printed the sticker and VIN for me. I talked to them about not adding extras stuff, and not putting the dealer emblem on the car.
They said it takes 3-4 days from port, so im really hoping I can pick this up by the end of the week

What dealer are you getting yours from? Priuskitty and I are getting ours from Luv Toyota in Lakewood, NY.

The excitement is building! The ship seems to be waiting for its time to come into port. Scheduled for tonight at 9pm ET.

I am purchasing from Rt.44 Totota in Raynham Ma.
They had a PIP on the lot. I was told they are using it as a rental.
