I think (guess) that when the $35K model is introduced, it is going to kill the Asian Hybrid market for Prius, Toyota, Honda, Kia, Nissan, etc. People who bought those cars were looking for an affordable (under $50K) car that was environmentally friendly (without ICE) and couldn't find anything else in that price range even though they could afford a more expensive car. So they settled for second best alternative. We'll see. That will come with the Model P(ickup).
They will...when the Tesla truck gets released. They can price that thing at $80K and still sell it all day over a big 12MPG Ford truck.
