Toyota offers badges to Prius owners

Thinking of selling one of my badges on EBay.

 

Just paper. Not even a sticker you could put on one of the windows. I was going to put it on the refrigerator but it looks to cheap. hwell:

 

Finally got my badge! It's cool but not sure what to do with it yet.

 

i put mine up on the 'wall of shame" in my barn with my prius 10 years badge and other auto paraphernalia.

 

got mine today, whoopee!

I received my badge yesterday in a padded envelope, thanks Toyota!

What a disappointment! After waiting weeks (not knowing if I was among the first 1000), I finally received my sticker yesterday. I stuck it on the cupholder door, since it wouldn't survive more than a week if it was exposed to the outside elements. I haven't decided yet if it adds to or subtracts from the appearance of my interior.

I agree that the "good one" is very attractive, but if they could only afford to send out 1,000, they should have forgotten it altogether.

 

I agree with this - rcvd the sticker version too. It's OK, but not worth the hype and anticipation/dissapointment of being/not being in the 1st 1000.

Personally I would never put it on my car (either one), tacky and would never last in the outdoor elements. I especially dislike the Dealer stickers. That's like buying a home and having Century 21 plaster a sign on the back of your house forever.

My sticker - in the glove box or perhaps stick it on on the front of the owners manual cover...

 

I doubt they could only "afford" to send out 1000, they chose to. That way the first 1000 are more special. They aren't going to send out 1 million padded plaques, that would be strange.

The whole point of a collectable is that there is limited quantity.

 

I just got mine. I don't know if it's one of the first 1000 or what, although that seems unlikely. The letter that comes with it is a bit flawed, science-wise. Here's a picture of my "unique" badge.

I should have put down 100,000 miles in order to get prettier graphics, but it'd still go in the same place as macmaster's.

 

Shhhh... They are going to contact all 1,000 of us "real" badge holders and give us, gratis, any 2012 Prius model we desire. We truly are the "lucky few." Don't tell any of the sticker holders...

Meanwhile, back in reality...

 

Its ok, finally got mine, really not worth the hype, can't really use it anywhere on the car.
