Toyota Offering 0% + $2000 Back On PIP

Sadly (for those of us who already have the car, anyway), I suspect they will extend it. Most dealers still have a glut of these cars on their lots.

 

This is what worries me.. that there will be a BETTER deal a week after I make my deal lol

 

If you get a # you can live with, just go with it.
The October deal might be the very best deal they offer on PiP, or we might see something better.

 

So....... Traded the car in!! With Hurricane Sandy looming, it was rainy and windy! The dealership closed at 11am. Deal was done at 1130 am. I have to say the guys at Fitz Auto Mall in Gaithersburg Maryland did a great job. The car is on its way to Florida barely making it through the crappy weather.. new car is great.. and mods to come in the coming weeks!

Edit: so what was the breakdown of your deal? How much for trade-in and what was the price of the new car?

 

Got the car for $27,410 after rebates for a Base PIP
Got $18,100 for my 2011 Prius III with aNavi/JBL/Solar Package
- Owed 27,000 on it so I was pretty negative..

BUT my payment was almost exactly the same?! <- To me this was the most important thing.. All the other numbers are semantics.. They could put whatever numbers on the new car and my trade in.. To me the final payment is the most important thing..

It was a pretty painless process since I kept ALL the emails that were sent back and forth. lol They tried to screw me, but then I showed them the emails and all of a sudden they were able to get the numbers right haha..

 

Yeah after my experience I think online negotiation is the way to go. That way you have it all in writing and no one can pressure you in person. Show up, sign paperwork, get the car detailed, and off you go.

 

Yah definitely the way to go! Never will I walk right into a dealership without contacting multiple dealerships!!

Yup between the 0%, 3500.00 rebate and 2500.00 tax return I am a happy customer!

 

We are running out quick in CA for the 2012 base model PHEVS... and when I say running low, I mean it. I have been gathering them as fast as I am able on dealer trades, but am way down for selection!
I started this month with over 60 base and another 19 advanced. I am down to way less than half that total.
Our specials thru Nov 5th are for both lease and purchase.
$1500 bonus cash for using the 0 apr (tier 1 or 1+) OR the $2000 bonus cash for doing the low rate 36 month lease.

Depends on the region.
The incentives have dropped by $500 on the west coast. I believe they were nuked in Boston entirely. They remained unchanged in the mid-Atlantic, and went up by $500 in the New York metro.

well I checked a Maryland Zip code.. and they extended the 0% and up to 5000.00 toyota finance cash until 12/3! So same deal I got, but just extended.

Looking at the notes and it says this deal is for Maryland and Virginia

Actually reread the fine print and it looks like the Base models get 4000.00 now instead of only 3000.00!! dangit..
