    I just renewed a sub a couple weeks ago and the XMNavTraffic price is $7 per month. This is for my 2014 Toyota Prius Plug-in...

    Interesting, but I can download Google maps to my mobile devices for offline use and when outside 3G areas.

    Agreed. Google maps has got a lot better for offline use that it used to be.

    But to me Google's map based process for selecting areas to download seems to me much more designed for relatively small areas than for larger areas or whole countries, for example in the bad old days when roaming was so expensive on the continent of Europe, for UK users.

    For that, Here we Go maps is much easier. But then again, it is updated FAR less frequently than Google.
