    MR2, good idea for starting point; my only worry is the mid-engine layout in that very small chassis probably wouldn't handle the traction battery very well. The MR2 has a fairly difficult access to the power train too. The materials quality would have to be upgraded to Prime Advanced level.
    One thing I did forget in my new Prime Sports, is the addition of noise-cancelling technology, instead of soundproofing. This would tremendously reduce the weight of the car, while still keeping it very quiet.

    Rumour has it that the Supra (in collaboration with BMW) may offer a hybrid powertrain.

    But it may be the multisport hybrid HSD from the LC500h rather than the Prius type HSD.
