    fair enough, but we do know there are over ½ dozen Model S's that have over ¼ million miles, & at least a couple that have over 400k miles. See the chart;

    Since the M3 is powered by the same process as the MS, it's a fair guess - that your guess on longevity will be correct.

    As for what the model 3 will be worth in 3 years, it sounds like you're moving the goalposts. On the one hand you're saying that poor people can't afford the model 3, starting in the $30k range (especially bought used) - and on the other hand you're saying they'll sell in 3 years?
