I'm glad they put a Toyota badge on it instead of Scion. Scion is being axed.

Toyota C-HR is going to be unveiled in production form at Geneva, which is 1/2 of March 2016 (press days).

We dont know much but we know:
    - be based on TNGA like Prius
    - will have 1.2t and 1.8l Hybrid engines
    - More about style than space
    - will start sales by September 2016 (could be sooner).
    - it could be built in Turkey, which would be awesome for us:

Turkish plant among candidates to build the new Toyota C-HR
    - Invest in Turkey

If it is built in Turkey, it means it will be treated core vehicle for TMME (Europe) and will be given preferential status by Toyota distributors. Not to mention lower prices, no customs and faster delivery.

Currently Corolla and Verso are built in Turkey, Corolla also in South Africa for European market. I am not sure how much is that plant utilized now, considering they shifted Auris to UK only due to dwindling Avensis sales and that Verso sales are also dwindling. However if they are expanding production to 250k units that can only mean that new models are getting produced there.

As to the Scion, it will then come as Toyota C-HR, which makes more sense anyway. Scion had much smaller dealer network and bad rep for being young people cars. However Europe here is one of the core markets for C-HR, NOT USA. This car has always been unveiled in Europe first and is built with Europe in mind. It will sell better in Europe than in the USA which means great things for us Europeans.

Yep... all in Europe too, should get good pricing for Europe actually. Barely smaller than Rav4 too. This is basically sister to upcoming Lexus CX.

Since we know Rav4 pricing, this should start 20/30% lower than it at least... it will be good for all of us Europeans. News also confirm it will have G4 Prius powertrain which will be built in England.

lets see what it looks like inside and out... might be perfect car for Europe. Supposedly now TMME took over development of small cars, lets see the fruits of that labor.

Toyota has been testing what looked like a raised CT200h for 2 years now, I assume this is the same car basically - prototype using old CT200h shell. No wonder it is followed by NX during tests.

I am terrible judge of photos, looks same size as C3 there but looking over specs of show model from 2014, its lenght is 4.35m and wheelbase is 2640mm which is I think the same as Rav4 (2660mm) but much smaller overhangs. So it will appear smaller and have smaller boot but inside might be very similar in size except for the sloping rear. That works for me :)
