I had a Mustang long ago. See my very old postings referring to a 'Ford Lemon POS'. That was one reason my next car acquisition was a not a Ford, but a Honda, made in Marysville, Ohio, America. Next after that, a Subaru, made in Indiana, America.

Before my time, my now-spouse also had a Mustang, an earlier version. It was worse.

Dad's farm trucks are all Fords, but we never felt any compelling reason to revisit their cars again, back when they still had a selection.

 

It’s behind a paywall but it looks like Toyota’s settling with the individual litigants.

 

They got theirs, screw the rest. The key will be whether it represents a precedent.

 

Sometimes, settlements derive from mandatory arbitration, and come with NDAs. The rest are typically screwed regardless of the original plaintiff's intent.

 

Litigants typically get a cherry on top of the class settlement sundae. Here, no sundae.
