Yea, I too find that "why haven't you been playing the game" comment distasteful. Perhaps he didn't know you just got your PiP nor that PiP just launched there.

Here are my stats since my battery was disconnected while my bumper was being replaced back in May.

I make a suggestion that you initiate a second contest (or a second part of this contest) that has all the same rules except requires at least 15,000 miles as the total miles. That is the average miles traveled in a year, and would give a good idea what the Prius can do over a long period of time that includes all the seasons.

    Sad not Happy picture !
Ok I've gone on before about "The Formula" yet defended Markabele's decision to keep it
    BUT
for the record I had to share this pic which was soon to be a decent challenge to Retured4999's dominance.
I've got 39 miles to go and was on pace for 173-174, had 46 gas miles so I assumed I had another 5-6 to play with based on my last go...

It was fogging up, wife hit defrost, we're going up a hill and ICE kicked in. In that one mile my calc went from 173.6 down to 146.6. That's a whole lot more that the 3-5% ? think that was the Max # someone said the formula could be off by !
So don't change it - fine, I'll have another go but its a LOT of gaming

Ya, it changes it by about 15.5%. Whoever said 3-5% was a freakin' idiot!

    I got that.

This was a pretty glaring example. I just reset and started again...
I figured the way the formula works I was better off resetting than building from 1 gallon
(up to 1.99 that counts like 1.5 :sneaky: )

I've owned a PIP for 11 months but only have 8000 miles on it, so after actually making it to #5 on Top 20 list, I'm informed I'm a below average guy:). I guess 10,000 miles might not cover all seasons for some, but does for below average guys like me. And I thought the current game took a long time to play!

Not bad. Still saving a lot of gallons with how many miles you are driving on EV.

That's awesome. I don't know anyone that has more EV miles than that.
