Nobody seems to be "struggling" here but YOU.
And your posts are about as irrelevant as it gets.

i suppose it's because the o/p never returned, and we always wind up talking amongst ourselves when that happens.
once the o/p has been answered correctly multiple times, threads tend to drift instead of dying out

Most 'dollar ' stores will have a mini screwdriver set.
    Otherwise any hardware store.

Just the battery that's correct but I'm changing the whole case because all the buttons are crap so I need the rubbers that covered the buttons the cases shiny and worn and all of that It doesn't come off I don't think at least the three I have here have not come off I've tried to pry them apart with things that generally destroyed the remote cover which I have new in my hand The new one in my hand snaps together but the factory generation 2 is Sonic welded together to hold the green board in I thought he was changing the whole remote I do see where he's taking just the screws out and to do that the client screwdriver will whip those right out He's already taking the remote apart and put it back together usually I've already well no matter But I've not been able to get the full jacket off of the green board without using my Dremel on the generation too I just go around the seam lightly and it pulls apart like a it's made that way and then the one I've purchased snaps apart just like you would think it would and it does and then you install battery and use the new door and the new screws supplied hopefully fit I've had a few come with screws that don't fit the new remote luckily I was able to use my old screws that is now if you're buying Toyota factory replacement remote cases and all that I couldn't tell you how they work I'm assuming like the snap together ones that are aftermarket etc.
