I love The Onion. By calling it humor they can get away with telling the absolute truth.

No need, when taken from an obviously biased source, there's better than an even chance quotes ore taken out of context, etc.

Thank you sir. Hope to come back more often.

I wonder if people who treat Abramoff like a leper will do the same to DeLay or Scooter.

BTW, I'm not naive enough to believe that if the Dems had this much power that we wouldn't be in the same mess. Such is the curse of a two party system.

Right, first you refuse to supply sources for wild accusations in this topic . . .

    http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=17530&st=120

And refuse to even consider sources from CNN, Associated Press, Washington Times, Congressional Quarterly Weekly, The Washington Post, etc. . .

You are biased beyond measure and lack credibility. <_<

    Ahmmm,

Me thinks you've been looking in a mirror while doing your little impression of Ann Coulter above.

As far as considering sources, I will indeed consider sources from CNN, AP, Washington Post, NY Times SF Gate, CBS, NBC, ABC NPR, CPB, CBC, BBC, or any other credible news source. I'll even pay attention to the Washington Times, but I will take that one with a grain of salt considering it's owned by the Moonies.

I will not consider the RNC, DNC, faux news (even the name is an oxymoron) as credible news sources, nor do I consider Rush Linbaugh, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Michael Moore, Al Frankin, or Randie Rhodes as unbiased comentators.

It was you my little right wing fringe player who dismissed the BBC as being biased, and presented a link to the RNC as being a fair analysis.

And this is the second time I have asked you to look at the bottom of each of those quotes. You will see that they contain names such as CNN, Associated Press, Washington Post and your favorite Washington Times ets. You did not get past the fact that I used the RNC website becaused they compiled all those sources into one link which saved me time and research effort. Now as for your sources for the accusations you made on the "If Bush is a Liar. . ." topic, I'm still waiting. . .

That is when you quote only part of a source, usually to pick something out that changes the meaning of what the original author meant.

Example: Lets say George Bush in the course of a speach made the statement ...There are some people in this country who believe there is no God. Now lets say someone wanted to quote him but said George Bush said "there is no God". Now, in this example, George Bush did say there is no God but he also said much more, and to quote only the last portion of his statement clearly changes the meaning of his statement. That my friend is quoting out of context, and it's quite a popular pastime in many political circles.

Could you please give me an example of which article and/or which four words were taken out of context?

Boy did you call that one. As far as Dem's being painted as angry, all I can say is they started it, and now it's being used against them because it's effective. A finger in my butt for 5 years? Yep I object to that, but some wouldn't. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
