Tire Pressure Monitor

If you are going to have an add on monitor, watch coolant temp. One could save a flat; the other could save an engine.

 

I like that, what’s available and how do they work?

 

I use a P10 which is available on ebay and amazon. It reads data in realtime via obd2 like the original $159 scangauge but has a better display and costs $35.



The $269 scangauge 3 might be worth looking at if you don't mind the price.


The P10 instructions are a bit condensed but that's what you get when you buy stuff for 25% of ten years ago. Which covers a lot of equipment.

 

I thought about scan gauge a long time ago, but decided I wouldn’t use it in the long run. But a cheap, easy to install temp monitor interests me, especially since my engine started stumbling

 

Might as well decide now; Hybridpit or sealer

 

Too far for hybrid pit, isn’t sealer useless?

 

Humor my son. Sealer is fine if you are a no good slimy scammer.

Hybridpit will ship and may be the only quality mid price rebuilt engine option.

 

Still have to find an installer, at less than 30,000 miles, I’ll want to be sure it’s the head gasket, and not a clogged egr circuit

So sorry, when it was cold here I got some sort of cold start knock just so happened I needed the space to pickup a door drove on freeway knock never came back.

Gonna start a thread for input?

 

i had success when my engine wouldn't shut down after warm up. something is definitely wrong in the system, but no trouble lights

 

@AzusaPrius you have 12V right next door to tap what voltage does it run on?

 

I like that the driver side heat seat controls were yanked out for the tpms display.
