it would be interesting to see what the various lifetimes are in cars sold in Middle East countries like Saudi Arabia.
One of the lessons we learned (the hard way) during our many years of RV life was about tires. First one was they have an expected life span and the second was they were designed to be used. As far as the life span: 5 to 7 years (assuming they are being driven on periodically (at least once a month for about 10 miles)). As far as use: the compounds in the material will degrade if they are not used by driving on them. Both lessons were learned the hard way when a perfectly good looking tire was put in the tire rotation and blew out in less than 100 miles. And both were confirmed by an independent tire engineer who explained it all very well (he wasn’t selling anything). Plus we saw the results of other RVers ignoring the warnings. If you are not going to be using the tires store then inside, either off the vehicle or with the vehicle raised up off the ground. And Learn to read the manufacturing date and push the age limit at your own peril. FWIW
