    Not to sound like an nice person, but what's the point of overfilling? Just fill it to where it should be and be kind to the environment!

    Buyer be aware I guess-another reason I never buy used.

    Just so you know, anyone that knows me also knows my cars are kept in pristine condition. I don't believe overfilling will damage anything, certainly not to the point it could affect vehicle performance. To each his own.

    Each gallon of gas weighs about 6 lbs. Unless I feel that gas price is going up, I just wait until DTE is very closed to zero.
