Well, I broke down and looked it up. There are two clocks and two ways to schedule charging. Which clock does the schedule use? On page 149 of my manual (in the section about using the large display to schedule charging times), it says to adjust the clock to the correct time and directs the reader to page 185, which describes setting the clock on the MID. That leads me to conclude that the scheduler is using the clock that's normally visible on the dash and the clock in the large display is just for the nav system.
