Are Costco prices supposed to be different from dealer to dealer?

    I am not sure.
I did not use Costco pricing because their system was broken. I had chosen my dealer based on a different Costco quote & past experience.
Since Costco did not show my dealer as having my car, they insisted I use a different dealer. Costco would not change it & my dealer could not get me a Costco quote. I ended up purchasing based on my dealer's price but I prefer rewarding good service. My salesman was better than my expectation too.
IMHO, my east coast dealer (DC area) is probably one of the best Toyota dealers. Well worth the 150 mile drive.

Which dealer is that? I'm in Baltimore but would be willing to make the trip.

Sam Lee at Miller Toyota in Manassas VA is great. He still drives a Gen 1 Prius. PM me for more details.

Agree 100% on Sam Lee, however Miller doesn't have any. Contact Joel Venga at Jim Coleman Toyota in Bethesda, it's closer to you than Manassas. I bought a Prime Advanced from him this past Saturday for $29,750+TTL.

Jeff Fuller at Miller Toyota, who Sam referred me to because he was busy when I came up in 2014 to buy my Sienna, told me they would take orders/deposits and get them in 8-12 weeks. For me that was too late to get the tax credit in 2016. Miller is very small. My family has bought six Toyotas from Sam over the years and we still get his "Happy Birthday" letters. Great guy.

Please explain the Costco system to me. I can't imagine why I could get a better deal going through Costco than just shopping several dealers directly and going with the best offer. Why would they offer it less through Costco than simply having different dealers bid against each other?

i think it's like health insurance. the bigger the pool you can put together, the more the supplier is willing to drop their pants to get that potential quantity of business.

What do you mean by "taxes extra"? I think the prices you stated are inclusive all taxes. The Active price before taxes is around EUR 30,000?

    Updated Netherlands pricing and packages

It's 38,200 Euro plus Finland car taxes. The 24% VAT is already there (I assume that was ALV 24% is) but there's a separate column for "car tax" so the final price is higher. So that's what I mean by "taxes extra". I'll edit it for clarity.

My local Toyota internet sales was slow so I contacted a dealership about 5 hours away in Santa Fe NM and within 24 hours have a telephone agreement to buy a base Prius for $27,500 OTD (out the door) not including TT&L, or $500 more if the loyalty rebate is no longer in effect. I've been told to expect the car in January or perhaps February.

So MSRP + delivery - applicable rebate
    No junk fees
    No port add-ons
    No dealership doc fees

Now that I have written this, I'll have to look into whether the loyalty rebate can be stacked with a cash purchase.

Southeast Toyota does have a DPH Fee of $890 instead of the standard $865 the rest of the US has. I took delivery of my 2017 Prime Advanced yesterday in Charleston, South Carolina. The dealers here seem to be familiar with the car just only doing orders not keeping them in stock.

I haven't seen any news about the pricing or availability of the Prime in Canada. I'm getting anxious! Anyone have some insider info or rumours they can share?

I'm in Texas and I can't get anything off MSRP! I've tried several dealerships and they are all giving me the same price. One dealer even told me they won't be getting them in our state.
