those who have Entune 3.1.0, can you help us out??

Ditto. Just checked mine and same 2.1.0. Just did my 30k service last week so I'm not going back to the dealer any time soon just to have my text messages read to me. Hoping some kind soul comes along and uploads.

 

That kind soul would have to have a copy pirated from a dealer service department.

 

If I go to the dealer, I will take my Entune USB key they mailed me from the first firmware upgrade.

They may copy it on it without questioning.

 

It's not like we're pirating Windows 8. The software is free.

Probably this is from the lawyers, not the software developers. It could be that they don't want people to get a copy of the software and reverse engineer it and make "unauthorized" modifications or use it on other platforms. Just a thought as a software development professional; I don't have any "inside" information.

Have you been able to find an entune update? I am currently using 2.2.

 

3.2.0 is the current version. You can download it to a USB stick and install it yourself following the instructions on the ToyotaNation forum:

I think there might be a 3.3.0 that only the dealer can install. I'll have to check my version when I get home but I had this done. PiP base here.

 

I can't find any reference to 3.3.0, so I look forward to seeing if you have it. Did the dealer mention any specific problems that your update was supposed to fix?

 

I found a list of problems it was supposed to fix, online, at the time. I asked the dealer for the update and they refused saying I had to have one or more of the issues. The only issue I could remember was "doesn't say which side of the street your destination is on" so I told the service writer that. Lo and behold, it did that afterwards!

 

That was fixed on a much earlier version.

The fixes for 3.1.0 and 3.2.0 are listed at the ToyotaNation forum, which also has details on how to install these updates yourself, but there's nothing on 3.3.0 there.

I am an idiot lol. I have 3.2.0. That dealer upgrade must have been before the 3.2.0

Yeah, no problem. Now I can stop spewing false info haha. I wish there was a newer update though. 3.2.0 is so old now...sort of.

 

My 2014 is at 3.2.0

 

That's the latest version anyone has seen.
There's some talk on the Toyota Nation forum of Toyota eventually setting up its own download site.
