Totally normal. I get "An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later." half the time.
    That's normal, isn't it?

When totally malfunctioning (every morning, it seems), half the time is about average. Many times it is worse. Even when "functioning" I find images & Amazon links missing on postings.

What I find happens "normally" is a (relatively benign) "null response", when clicking on links. The window will blank out, as if it's going to load the linked page, but then stops, just white, no "unexpected data error". Refreshing the page (F5 on Windows system, for example) reliably fixes it: page loads normally. But maybe this'd be a clue, for anyone lurking.

Speaking of lurking, that's the big thing for me, this dead silence from anyone in-the-know.

Sorry @Skylis A old buddy, but we're gonna have to ban you from going to bed. That should solve the problem for the rest of us. ;)

I get "Unspecified Error" when trying to start a conversation. I have a posting for this thread that I have tried at least 2 dozen tries before quitting

Trying my problem posting. Let me try it as code.
    Code:
I found something that is a workaround for when the site eats your Amazon link.
Paste the link but remove “https://“ from the beginning. The site adds “http://“ to the beginning
and displays the whole link but it works.
DO NOT EDIT the posting or the link will disappear.

NOTE: It has taken persistence and at least 2 dozen tries to post this.

The only thing is, if it's http and not https, your security details might be easily accessible to bad folk.
