The last couple of days the site seemed to be doing OK.

Today the post hangup is back in full force and the database error is showing it's ugly face again.




Another way to look at this situation.

 

Max would always INSIST on the cone of silence.

 

Quick, but I noticed something, a few times getting a "page could not load", and backing up request ignored. But yeah, no delay in posting.

Spoke too soon, posting delay's back, off-and-on.

 

I noticed yesterday some of my posts I could not edit (no edit button)

 

"An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later."

I've got that about 7 times in 24 hours. Just got again by trying to post this.

 

Same here. My edit button disappeared 3 months ago? I'm thinking of creating a new account, with a new user name, and starting over.

And yes, the gremlins are back. (or hackers?) Many error messages; And I will be knocked offline when switching to another thread or viewing a picture; And of course the usual "you must wait 23 seconds before posting" . (Six attempts just to post this.)

 

I've been getting a few random delays while attempting to post these last few days.

I would hit post, and it would show that's it's trying to do so (spinning cycle), I would wait a while and get fed up and hit post again.... And it would say I have to wait ____ seconds before attempting to post again..?



Edit: Hahaha.... Just got a data base error trying to post this reply.

Oh and every now and again the screen would go totally white and have a small line of text at the top... I believe it was the good ol "unexpected error"....

 

And, The Band Plays On....more issues.

And, I am actually listening to Pure Prairie League...

Anyway, I admit I have been on this Web site WAY more than usual in the past week. I had tire issues and then a health concern that left me bored and chair-bound.

But, now, I keep getting "unexpected data base error" -- and since it now happens all the time, you think it would say EXPECTED data base issue.

And, some 25 percent of the time, the page renders incorrectly. Refreshing cures it, but it is a bit irritating.

Took me about 20 tries to even get the forum operational tonight. Been getting the same "An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later" message more than ever.

 

It's not broke yet, but getting there day by day.

data base error, here we go...

It seems that quite a few of us are experiencing problems with posting, rendering, data base errors and so forth. This problem has also been acknowledged by various mod's in various posts and strings.

These problems did not occur overnight, but rather have been going on for quite some time now.

Is there any possibility that the site can be fixed once and for all?

I'm seeing a lot of database errors among other strange forum display errors when trying to access the forums on my Win 10 laptop using the Edge, I.E. or Chrome browsers, on my iPhone and iPad using Safari or the Tapatalk app. The screen shots are from the iPad...

Anyone else seeing similar issues?

I encountered problems earlier today, but everything seems good now

 

It was completely down, then-might-as-well-be-down, then looks more-or-less normal looking but good-luck-trying-to-post, and just now back to normal. Normal for here anyway.

 

I have been seeing these errors for a couple of days now but it seems normal again...Computer magic...Eh...

 

When you have a one man administration like Danny runs, all problems happen as soon as you get distracted by life.

 

It is VERY ironic that I find my post above to be edited by a moderator, and no answer once again.

I posted a new string in the "website problem section" asking about these ongoing problems. Today I see that my post was completely removed from the website problem section, and promptly added onto my last post above with NO answer or reply.

I myself think it is a very legitimate question that was posted in a legitimate fashion in the correct place.

I have not been drinking, nor taking any drugs of any sort. I do feel that @Stevewoods is correct though that certain mod's are abusing their privileges.

I look at it like this. If the mod's are having problem's and just can't fix it, SAY SO!. I would bet ALL of us will shut up. But NO, we are being ignored and shuffled off to a place called "Fred's House of Pancakes" which is the BS section of Prius Chat.

Now I feel like @cyberpriusII that I will be banned because I have voiced my opinion on the subject.

And I do agree with her statement that Prius Chat is not anything like it was the day I joined.
