this website has gone ballistic.

Well going from the Netcraft reports of Priuschat and Cleanmpg, they are hosted by different companies in different cities on different power grids in different geo/seismic areas.

They are using similar software, so the right hack attack could potentially drop both sites.

Would likely take more than a dog sitting on a half-closed laptop to knock both down...

Serious: I do have "staff member" rights, see all the extra-power stuff in options, unlimited post edits. But, it was just due to my having problems getting on the site years back,; they gave me full rights (which worked), but I've never dared do anything.

 

At one time, after the old Greenhybrid.com imploded, I used to visit CleanMPG to see what was going on. Less bad, it still seems to be Wayne's playground. At least we're not seeing the "Mileage Record" articles showing up like we did over a decade ago. I also noticed Greenhybrid has morphed too. Regardless, sampling some of the postings, I am not tempted.

It’s happened a few times before. Seems to have abated this morning.

When upgrades....aren't.

What PC needs to do is hire some media to convince everybody that the site is roaring along better than ever before.....

 

Or just stop accepting posts about slowdowns. If there aren't posts about slowdowns, there aren't slowdowns.
