Prius curiosity and persecution often drove us together: "Dust-to-Dust", unintended acceleration, and Sudbury Nickel fraud. We soon learned that Prius people have more skills and insights that makes ours a community we choose to be with: Twitter - not useful when free and charging $8/mo did not improve it. Facebook - loosely links family and friends. Also local EV groups and back channel to Priuschat. Other Tesla and EV forums - chat technical with like minded owners. Bob Wilson
Wadda ya know? It's back! I got called back in to help at Tampa Hybrids Wed-Fri. It was down Tuesday as I recall but this morning is my first chance to check back. Nice to see ya again!
Yeah! I maintain our families vehicles so have accounts on Tundra, Mazda, Hyundai, and VW forums and, man, our Prius problems and issues are NOTHING compared to non-Toyotas. (Tundra is mostly modding their toys talk.) The Hyundai forums is the most troubling....gloom doom and agony despair! (My daughter traded in her Mazda for a Palisade and I'm not too happy about that...but will try to keep the Pali running for her as long as I can...it's a 2021)
It's nice to be needed. So I go back when they need me if I can. With my 70th birthday fading in the rear view mirror, I don't know how much more of that I can do. After working 3-1/2 days on cars, I slept 10 hours last night.
Props Jerry. I slept 10 hours Thur night after fixing phones for a living, M-T and I'm a wee bit younger.
Funny we were just whining a lot about this forum going mute. Maybe this time was a punishment for being vocal. .
It wasn't lively today? I was cut off while trying to post a reply last night, but managed to recover and save a draft. At first login attempt today, saw that the website was up again, so posted it. Only after that did I notice there had been no previous posts today. For once, my timing was just right.
