Someone kicked the power cord on the server?

 

I suspect the cleaners needed to use the outlet for their vacuum cleaner and they just forgot to plug the server back in when they'd finished cleaning!

 

Someone plugged their Prime into an outlet on the same breaker.

I was going to post something this morning an now I forgot what it was.

Using Google to search, say "[search string] Priuschat" works fine, but just sayin'.

This website is totally fine today. But I am finding that lots of American and Australian sites are down. Is this just a problem in Australia, or are you all finding this too?

What was interesting? The fact you were notified? I don't think there is a limit governed by the post create date for being notified of a new post to a thread you're watching.

If it was that you were notified of a new thread being started, maybe the thread was moved recently to the forum from another forum?

 

My bad, wrote 'new post' but meant 'new thread'. Was notified of a new thread being started (dated all the way back from 2010 ), which I wasn't following or I would've be notified of a recent post from yesterday as well. Yes, if it was moved, and into the right sub, then I would be alerted, at least I would think so. Just seemed like an odd forum error(?) overall, never had it happen before.

 

Yeah, it sure does have some quirky features.

 

Yesterday site was down most of the day. This morning a short-lived crash, up again. Hopefully ok.
