Here in AZ we have special Hybrid license plates that give us HOV-lane privileges. I'm keeping my tags, thank you On a side note, picked up my wife's 2008 Package 6 today, and that leather is nice. I can see with the perforations how it might not protect as much against spills, though. I'll probably stick with the package 5 for mine when I get on the list. Finance guy at the dealership told us about a used . . . oops, Factory Recertified 2007 they sold off the lot a couple of weeks back. They put it out with the sticker price as what it cost new (it had like 287 miles on it, something like Avis bought it and sold it back to Toyota for some reason). Two ladies got in a bidding war on it, completely outside of the dealership intervention, and it wound up selling for $8k over the sticker price. Now, I'm trying to decide if I take the dealership's trade offer (which I'll get formally on Friday when I go in) or put it on Craigslist and see who wants it.
Where's the anti-gouging peanut gallery? I thought they would be up in arms over this. I say, more power to you. In a capitalistic society, it's the job, nay the duty, of people who can do math to prey on those that can't.
